Deliveries & Returns
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Pet Accessories Australia encourages our customers to order via our web site. The web site is designed to assist customers with items which are in stock and is complimented via hard copy catalogues from time to time. Whilst we encourage you to order on the web site we will continue to provide the same great service that our valued customers have become accustomed to via our mobile showrooms. When ordering on the web site simply select the category you wish to view, then the product within the category. Once you have decided on a product select the style, size, colour and finally the quantity. The product will be added to the order and when you have finished shopping it will be sent to our warehouse and a copy sent to your email address.
Once we receive the order it will be packed and you will be notified if any items are not available plus the cost of the freight charges. If you approve the freight charges they will be added to the invoice and a final copy sent back to you for payment.
For example: if you fill a t-chest size box and it's around 5kg (most orders are) it will only cost you approx. $15 if your deliver goes to Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich & Northern Rivers. The same box going to coastal NSW including Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Wide Bay and Capricorn Coast will be $17 and only $20 to Albury, Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, Adelaide and North Queensland. Launceston and Hobart are $28. Other states and country areas will be quoted after order is packed because the cheapest way to do these orders is by cubic.
Wherever possible Fastways are our preferred carriers however if you have your own carrier of choice then notify us at the time of placing the order so we can have the stock ready for collection at the appropriate time. It should be noted that any charges relating to delivery problems, i.e. failed delivery attempts, will be passed on to the customer. Also, Pet Accessories Australia will not be responsible for any deliveries that have a Request/Authority to leave without signature.

*Bedding orders are exempt from the freight assistance scheme due to their cubic nature unless previously arranged and approved by Pet Accessories Australia.
*International orders do not qualify for any form of freight assistance. Freight to be organised by customer's freight forwarder unless otherwise requested.
It is our mission to bring you quality products at great prices so our policy does not incorporate extending credit via accounts. Payment can be made via any of the methods below but must be concluded prior to the stock being shipped from the warehouse:
- Credit Card
- Direct Deposit to: Asselman Family Trust, BSB: 084 917, Account number: 173 183 095
- Cheque (Cleared funds required for new customers)
- Once the payment has been received the order will be immediately dispatched.
Due to some customers cancelling orders after they have been packed we have decided it is only fair to charge a restocking fee. Most of our wonderful customers place an order when they have the funds and need the stock but others have been expecting us to pack and keep for months on end. We do not have the space to store orders that are not paid for. We also should not waste valuable warehouse staff time on picking and packing, or office time on invoicing, emailing and calling for payments.
Therefore a restocking fee of $20 per box will now apply to any orders that are placed (packed) then cancelled.
It's easy, just place orders when you have the funds and are capable of making the payment for the total amount (including freight) as soon as your order is ready to leave our depot. Thank you.
Pet Accessories Australia offer a 30 day product exchange guarantee provided the goods are returned in a saleable condition, unused and in the original undamaged box including all original packing and inclusions. The purchaser is required to pay all shipping costs incurred in returning items to Pet Accessories Australia except in instances where the goods arrived faulty or the incorrect product was delivered by Pet Accessories Australia.
To arrange for the return of an item found to be faulty at the time of delivery please contact us in the first instance and a Return Authority Number will be allocated. If you are an end user of the product it should be returned to the store from which it was purchased and it will be exchanged for a like item. The warranty does not extend beyond 30 days from the date of purchase or if the product has not been used in accordance with the manufacturers directions. No responsibility will be taken for goods returned without a Return Authority Number. Return Authority Numbers will only be issued where contact is made within 7 days of receipt of the item from Pet Accessories Australia.
All goods returned to Pet Accessories Australia will be inspected upon their return and in the case of faulty products, a replacement product will be sent at the expense of Pet Accessories Australia.
In the case of non-faulty goods returned to Pet Accessories Australia, we reserve the right to deduct a standard re-stocking fee from any refund issued, or to return the goods to the customer at the customers expense.
